Requirements

Shrine Quest: Recital at Warbler’s Nest

Talk to Kheel to start the quest.

If you set this quest as the objective marker, it will lead you to Genli, by the Cooking Pot in Rito village. She wants some Salmon Meunière and the other three siblings are off to help get the ingredients for it: Hearty Salmon, Tabantha Wheat, and Goat Butter.

Head to the general store to find Cree there, as well as get the butter from her. She also indicates where you can find Notts and Kotts.

Notts is somewhere ‘up high’ which in this case is on the cliff directly above the armor shop. Climb up there to speak to her and get the wheat.

Finally, Kotts is near the entrance to town fishing in a small pond. Talk to her to get the salmon.

Return to the objective marker where Genli is, cook the Salmon Meuniėre, and give it to her. The objective marker will update, so head to it.

If you talk to Kheel (the one on the right), your quest will update with a hint and you’ll get a Korok Leaf.

The kids will be singing a song in the pattern of 45312; use the korok leaf on the statues while standing on the pedestal in the same order (counting the spikes on top) to complete the quest and unlock the shrine.

The Winding Route

Hit the shock switch.

From the starting platform here, glide left, then up, then right (be sure to drop the paraglider to fall into the next wind channel before hitting the spikes). Open the chest here for a Small Key.

There is a second platform beyond the next, where you can find a Flameblade and then fly back one platform, turn left, and fly down to the next platform. There will be a door there, waiting for a key. Be careful as you must land on a small platform in the middle, while a wind is blowing you toward the end point.

Continue to the next platform, and you’ll see a wind channel heading right; skip it for now and head up the ramp to get the other chest here. Then return and take the wind channel you skipped to head to the altar for your well earned Spirit Orb.

‘Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ Warbler’s Nest Shrine Guide: How to unlock Voo Lota Shrine

Shrines are Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s mini-dungeons, and can range from some intense platforming to puzzle solving and even fights with Guardians, all to get Spirit Orbs, the game’s answer to heart pieces.В

Sometimes though, you’ll have to complete a small quest to unlock a shrine, and Rito Village’s Voo Lota Shrine is one of those. You’ll unlock it by completing the quest «Recital At Warbler’s Nest.» If you’re stuck on that particular quest, don’t worry. We’ve got the solution for you.

Zelda: Breath of the WildВ Warbler’s Nest shrine quest

Voo Lota Shrine can only be unlocked by completing the quest «Recital At Warbler’s Nest,» and you can only start that quest once you’ve defeated the Divine Beast that’s been troubling the Rito Village. Once that’s been dealt with, Gosu NoobВ states that you can start the quest by finding a mother who’s looking for her daughter.В

Once you’ve done that, head to the Warbler’s Nest location where you’ll find the woman’s chick, who will give you the shrine quest. You’ll have to find her four friends first, however. Three of them are easy to find: There’s one at the general store, one is on a rock ledge above the village and one is at the pond near the village’s entrance. The fourth is at the cooking pot and won’t budge until you cook her some SalmonВ MeuniГЁre.

The three other chicks will each give you an ingredient for the dish (Tabantha Wheat, Goat Butter and Hearty Salmon) but you can buy them at the general store as well. Once you’ve gotten all four of Kheel’s (the bird girl who gave you the quest) sisters, they’ll start their recital.В

Each Rito sings a different note, and to unlock the shrine you’ll have to stand on the central pedestal and play the notes they sing in the correct order on the stone formations. Each stone formation has a certain number of small stalagmites that indicate what «number» it is. So use a Korok Leaf and gust some wind through their hollow centers in this order: four, five, three, one, two.

Once you do that, Voo Lota Shrine will be unlocked and you’ll be able to go inside and grab the Spirit Orb it holds. The shrine itself just requires you to ride some air currents with your paraglider (while avoiding spiked walls) over a bunch of lava, grab a key from a chest and use that to unlock a central platform where the monk is hiding. There’s also a Flameblade sword on a small platform after you grab the key. So be sure not to miss it. Other than that, it’s a pretty straightforward shrine, no real walkthrough required.

How to find the Recital at Warbler’s Nest shrine quest

Recital at Warbler’s Nest is one of the few Breath of the Wild shrine quests to have a prerequisite: You must defeat Divine Beast Vah Medoh before you can start.

There are several steps within the quest, most of which are about finding little Rito girls. (Check out the gallery above to see the exact locations and what each sister looks like.)

First, speak to Amali, who’s hanging out near Akh Va’quot shrine (that’s the one atop Rito Village.) She’ll tell the story and give you the quest.

In short, you need to find four of her sisters, all of whom are in the vicinity of Rito Village. Each will give you an ingredient, and then you need to use them to cook salmon meuniere and give it to the final sister (Genli).

How to find the sisters

Return to the cooking pot in Rito Village, and give the hearty salmon meuniere to Genli. (She’s standing next to the cooking pot.) She’ll be (unreasonably) happy, and the quest will enter its next phase.

How to complete the Recital at Warbler’s Nest shrine quest

Now that you’ve found the sisters and cooked a meal, there are still a few steps before you can complete the quest. (See the gallery above for the steps visualized.)

Doing so will complete the Recital at Warbler’s Nest shrine quest and reveal Voo Lota shrine.
